Wasn't a MASH unit. But made the enemy think it needed one.
Wasn't just about 24 pilots flying 12 Cobras. But more than 100 human beings who made those 12 Cobras combat ready so that 24 pilots could fly them out to war.
Wasn't a 9 to 5 grind but a 12 hour, 7 day a week mental and physical workout.
Wasn't a Cavalry unit. They had gunships. We had an aerial firing platform.
Took the worry out of getting too close.
